Possible Survivng A&P Centennial Sign In Cocoa, FL
« on: April 19, 2019, 11:56:47 pm »
Cocoa, FL is home to an old plaza called "Pineridge Plaza" that contains a Save-A-Lot as it's only real anchor, and I believe the Save-A-Lot was built as an A&P originally. However, that's not the real interesting part.

After discussing with Albertsons Florida Blog a little bit (and mistakenly thinking it was at first a Pantry Pride sign), we came to believe that this is an original A&P Centennial sign, albeit a bit modified through the years. I believe the top has been modified, but the bottom matches an A&P Centennial sign.

Like this one- the top doesn't match, but the bottom is almost perfect.

However, I'm no expert on these things- so that's why Im posting here. Could anyone more experienced double check this? It'd be awesome if this was an A&P Centennial relic, as A&Ps of that era are very thin on the ground in the state of Florida, so any relic from them is great to find.
